GDPR-info came into existence almost two years before the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation. Both Richard and John ran their own independent Data Cleaning companies (which they still do) and realised immediately the enormity of the task facing businesses in the country. Most significantly they identified that the smaller local authorities – town and parish councils in particular as well a the smaller independent charities would face a lack of expertise in ensuring that their data was held legitimately under the new rules.
They learnt as much about the sectors as they could to be able to identify potential problem areas and how they could best help.
Richard Newell
When he isn’t working Richard is either walking his dog over the hills or flying high above the Sussex countryside in his aeroplane. A qualified pilot, he finds his flying gives him a better perspective
John Fowler
John spends most of his free time as a presenter on local community radio or helping out at the local theatre. Also a dog lover, he is concerned that his dog is not a John lover, since it never returns to him when called.
